Ok, so snow, a nice sized refund, AND a letter from the INS was NOT enough to cut through the migraine.
It lasted a total of 5 days, two trips to the ER, and copious amounts of heavy duty drugs. Lets just say the M-or-word drug was used and had absolutely zero effect.
Don't ask me what finally worked. I don't know. All I know is I'm dealing with aftershocks with Ex-word drug.
I was in so much pain they actually did a CT scan just to be sure.
End result, CT scan clear. Migraine blown away.
I stayed home from work to recover.
The Next Step in life is often the most frightening. This is my attempt to understand it, think it through and move on to the next.

How to stun me ...
Have the letter from BCIS (formerly the INS) with our fingerprinting appointment waiting in my mailbox upon my arrival home this evening.
No fighting required.
Also, have refund check from the mortgage company for funds you didn't know you were due back after closing.
All this, and its supposed to snow tomorrow.
I believe this is enough to cut through the fog of the migraine I've had for the past two days.
Yup, just enough.
