Blackout

I know I've had a blackout on this blog for the past couple of months, but there is a reason. A good one.

Life is great. I love my son. I love my husband.

Enter stage left, a moving van.

Yes, folks, you guessed it. We're moving. Again.

This time we're on the road to the deep south. CNN territory. World's largest aquarium and all that.

I spent two days last week in that city finding an apartment. Holy cow, is that city big.

Hubby got a new job which equals promotion in this case. He's so excited, I have a feeling he wants to leave today. Only his last day of work is Thursday. HA!

Cars go on the truck tomorrow morning. Packers and movers arrive on Thursday and depart with our stuff that same day.

Friday, we depart for that very Hot city.

Good thing: my sister has been living there since '93.
Bad thing: my sister has been living there since '93.

This is the closest I will be living to her since we lived in my parents house together. This will be an interesting experiment, 'cause it looks like we'll be there for at least three years. Love her, yes. Drives me crazy, yes. Now this gives my parents an even more open invitation to invite themselves down. *sigh* We had just signed a visitation agreement about the baby and they can only babysit one day a week. I'm now afraid they're going to move down for months at a time. With us.

(The above is written in a half jesting/half serious manner. Please take it as such.)

So like it says above, we leave Friday. Don't know when we'll have our next internet fix, but when I do, I'll be sure to check in. I'll let you know how it is to move with a 15 month old. ;)

Bonus points if you can guess where we're moving to by the references in the post. LOL

You've got smart readers. I had to look it up to find out it's Georgia.
Hope the move is going well.
