At 1:05 PM this afternoon, my cell phone rang.
I was in the car, at a stop light, on my way to the local IKEA for my latest organization project. (Nesting, don't 'cha know?)
It was our parent coordinator, P. "Do you have a pen and paper?" she says.
I scramble for it. I'm expecting her to have a recommendation for us for a new homestudy agency.
"Got it", I say.
"Good, because I have a court date for you!"
Pretty sure I screamed. I know I was in a fog as I drove to IKEA and walked around.
It soon became abundantly clear that my head was not in the game of shopping, and that I needed to just go home and call the travel agent and get the ball rolling.
Because don't you know, we leave NEXT WEEK!
Our court date is the first week of October.
Now I just have to breathe.
Hopefully the travel agent can come through for us!

What's Vladivostok's policy on the 10-day waiting period? Do they ever waive it?
