Two

I can't belive our little one is two. His party was a month ago, but as most mom's will attest, all I can do right now is just shake my head and say, "Where did the time GO?!"

We had such a wonderful time. Connor has a new friend, we'll name him B. B and Connor are wonderful friends. They spend alot of time together since B's momma and I are good friends. You see, B is from Russia, too. So lots of commonality all around.

Anyway, back to the birthday. We held the party at our local kid-friendly-also-has-a-retail-clothing-chain-name place. He was the king for a day, and loved every minute of it. They did all his favorite activities and sang all his favorite songs. We had a cookie cake ... which I would highly suggest by the way. Virtually no mess and very easy clean up. NO FROSTING FIGHTS!!!

He's changed so much in the year we've had custody of him. He's gone from not being anywhere near any growth chart anywhere to being a tall kid with really good muscle tone. He's a bit on the skinny side, but in a healthy way, not severely underweight and under nourished like he was when he came home.

The first few months he was home he consistantly ate 4-5 jars of baby food at a sitting -- 4 to 5 times a day! Now he's eating chicken nuggests, green beans, peanuts, bacon and peas like a champ!

He's got around 30 words that he uses consistantly, about 8 sign language signs, and is running around like crazy. Fantastic progress for a little one who could barely crawl when he came home.
