First Relaxing Day

Today was what we can pin point as our first normal day. We didn't have any plans, no work, no errands, no must-dos.

We slept in until almost 8AM after a fantastic dinner (Connor behaved wonderfully!) and visit with Jon's boss.

We made a quick trip to the grocery store after a simple lunch of pasta. We picked up some fresh bread, juice and snacks for the day. We headed back to the apartment and hung out all afternoon. Its 5PM now and we're just now getting around to letting housekeeping in the room. My brain is pushing against this down time with everything in its being. My body is grateful for the down day.

I just made some tea for myself and I'm enjoying some shortbread cookies from the bakery.

I'm about to start a load of laundry and I'll start dinner once housekeeping is done. We're having steak, rice and bread. Again, simple for now. We'll get a little more exotic as time goes on, I'm sure.

Good Monday Morning!!!

Loved those "down days" when your body had finally adjusted to the crazy time zone change.

Enjoy your Monday!!!

(Oh, have you tried any local fruit... we really enjoyed the Lichee and Dragon Fruit...I think Connor would get a kick out of thinking he is eating "Dragon Fruit!"
